Lipe Rollway Building J

Building J, a six-story, reinforced concrete brick building, is four-bays wide north-to-south and seven-bays wide along West Fayette Street in Syracuse. Constructed in 1920, it was designed by the local architectural firm of Gaggin & Gaggin, following the system patented by Julius Kahn in 1912 for constructing large scale, multi-story, concrete industrial buildings.

The development team of Lahinch Group, Braxton Capital and Morrisroe Lynn Development, have commenced a certified historic rehabilitation that will replace the existing Public Safety Building at 511 S. State Street.

Upon completion, The City of Syracuse Police & Fire departments will have new modern space to accommodate their current and future needs; as well as use of energy efficient design and materials, public engagement space and ample on-site parking.
