ADDIS BUILDING

The development team acquired the historic Addis Building in late 2016 from the Land Bank.  We’ve spent over a year stabilizing the structure, replacing the roof and completing environmental remediation.  These investments protected the building from the ensuing winter and ongoing building degradation.

In the Fall of 2018, the team completed the necessary design approvals with SHPO & NPS, and construction is set to begin in late 2018. When completed the historic department store will house 18 residential units, 12,500 sf of commercial space and a rooftop overlooking the South Salina Street corridor.

CENTRAL ROCK GYM

Lahinch Group along with The Matt Family co-developed space within the historic Merrell-Soule Co. building.  Together the team brought Syracuse's first professional rock climbing gym to Franklin Square .  Central Rock Gym is one of the top operators world-wide in the indoor rock climbing industry.

The building itself was impeccably preserved by the Matt’s allowing such a unique use in the heart of Franklin Square.  Over the years the building was home to a canning manufacturer, ice cream R&D facility, printing company, and now mixed commercial space.  Lahinch Group is also involved in Central Rock’s future gyms in Buffalo and Rochester.
