C.G. MEAKER BUILDING

In 2016 the development team completed a certified historic rehabilitation of the former C.G. Meaker Food Co. Warehouse, a historic building listed on both the National Register and the New York State Register. The building is located at 538 Erie Boulevard West, in the City of Syracuse.

This rehabilitation converted an empty shell of a building with a failing roof into 10,000 sf of commercial space and 33 residential units. The commercial space is occupied by HomeHeadquarters, bringing over 30 jobs to the neighborhood, together with a long-term commitment from a key community institution. This project was a catalyst for future development in the Park Avenue neighborhood.
